Required State Disclosures

Alaska

The University of California, Berkeley MICS and MIDS programs are exempt from authorization because they are online or distance-delivered, and the institution does not have a physical presence in the state.

Arkansas

The Arkansas Office of Higher Education requires Arkansas residents to complete 30 units to complete MIDS and MICS.

Maryland

The University of California, Berkeley is registered with the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC). Please see contact information for complaints on the Student Complaint Page.

The Maryland Higher Education Commission requires a different refund policy for Maryland students. The following chart illustrates the refund schedule for Maryland students:
