Course Spotlight – Behind the Data: Humans and Values

This webinar will be hosted by the datascience@berkeley Admissions team, and I School faculty member, Professor Morgan Ames. During this session, Professor Morgan Ames will discuss:

  • The Behind the Data: Humans and Values course and how it applies to the MIDS program’s learning objectives and core curriculum focuses
  • An introduction to the legal, policy, and ethical implications of data
  • How the I School at UC Berkeley uses a project-based approach to learning and encourages a pragmatic application of a variety of different tools and methods to prepare graduates to be leaders in the field of data science
