Course Spotlight – Government and National Security

This webinar will be hosted by the cybersecurity@berkeley Admissions team, and I School faculty member, Professor Andrew Reddie, who teaches Government and National Security in the MICS program. During this session, Andrew Reddie will discuss:
The Government and National Security course and how it applies to the MICS program’s learning objectives and core curriculum focuses
An introduction to critically evaluate these roles and responsibilities, the manner in which government networks, systems, and data are secured, and the ability of national and international cybersecurity strategies and partnerships to provide effective and efficient protection of the fifth domain.
How the I School at UC Berkeley uses a project-based approach to learning and encourages a pragmatic application of a variety of different tools and methods to prepare graduates to be leaders in the field of cybersecurity
